Every month we will be looking at a new building for inspiration; for February we will be taking a look at the Hopkins House.

Located in the Victorian suburbs of Hampstead, the Hospkins House was designed and built by the Hopkins to live and work. The designed a residential property using industrial components to create a high-tech domestic home.

Accessed via a footbridge this two storey building was constructed with a steel frame and metal deck floor. Walls are formed in steel deck and glass with the structure expressed both internally and externally.
