Building of the Month - November 2015
Every month we will be looking at a new building for inspiration so to get things started, Novembers building of the month goes to this years Sterling prize winner. Burntwood School in London.

Burntwood School is a large comprehensive girls school educating 2000 girls and employing 200 staff. The architects created 6 new faculty buildings and 2 large cultural buildings to expand on an existing campus designed by Sir Leslie Martin. Every building is driven by light with large picture frame windows and double height circulation spaces. Teaching spaces are a combination of traditional classrooms and multi puropose interactive areas.
